We loved the fact that we chose Boutique Hotel View. Room was a good value. Everything created a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was extremely nice...
-
The whole place was very clean and the stuff where great. The bed was very comfortable and the room was pleasant. Not far from the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. The breakfast was amazing and had a wide array of options.

Friendly staff, pleasant rooms. Wonderful local attractions like houseboat museum were really close to the hotel

We liked the loyal staff and the location was PERFECT. One could dine at restaurants such as The Pantry 5 minutes away.

Everything was just right.
Everything was great.
-
Excellent view from the window, nice staff, a small cozy room.
Old bed linen.
-
Very nice desk person who was very informative and helped us to take our luggage to the top floor.
No elevator, but that was not unknown to us before arrival.
-
The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Also, the location on the Leidsekade was excellent. It was the perfect starting point to explore all areas of the city.
I have become accustomed to the smaller hotel rooms in Europe relative to the US, but this room was ridiculously small for 2 people. You could pretty much touch both walls from the bed, and the toilet was in the shower...Literally!

Fantastic location - so easy to get around Amsterdam and plenty to do during the day and evening on your doorstep. One of the best areas in the city. Room was spacious (deluxe double) and comfortable. Free internet was very handy especially since we found ourselves stranded due to volcanic ash. Hotel staff were great: they found us alternative accommodation, were able to accommodate us on other nights and helped with finding transport home. Breakfast was decent too.

Pleasantly surprised when arrived at hotel - pictures don't do it justice! Stayed in small double, was cosy and well decorated. Breakfast room looking over the canal was superb. Great location on the canal and around the corner from liedseplein, also close to museums. Staff sympathetic and helpful when stuck in Amsterdam because of volcano - the use of their free computers was invaluable!
-
perfect location!it was exactly at the center of the city!generally,a good hotel for cheap vacation..

The hotel was elegant and comfortable. Thoughtful touches in the room and the natural friendliness of the proprietors made us feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfast was very elegant and generous. The view from our room, overlooking the canal and lots of trees, was really lovely. Although the room was small, it was light and clean, and very comfortable. We found this hotel the most warming and positive experience that we had in Amsterdam. The location was excellent, as it was an easy walk to the Museums. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Our double deluxe room had a view of canal, quiet but only two blocks from active city square and transport. Great location, cannot say enough good things about this place. Service was above and beyond - felt like staying with old friends who are efficient and have style! My 14-yr old son was welcome and at ease - would absolutely stay there again...
Thought there would be refrigerator and microwave (mini-kitchen) in room, but was a misunderstanding on the site, which is being addressed - facilities are available in main room/communal eating area. Staff was working to accommodate - they were great - but only coffee/tea maker available upon request in room.

Natalie, the owner, is great! She made our visit so wonderful, from a perfect breakfast to helpiing with luggage and directions. Our room had a beautiful view of the canal on this quiet street so close to museums and Leidseplein. Highly recommended and will stay there next time to Amsterdam.

The hotel was very conveniently located, close to the tram and nightlife. Rooms have been renovated recently and are comfortable and clean. Some rooms have canal view. Helpful, pleasant, and accommodating staff.
Note that the economy rate double room may be very small. We booked such a room and it was quite tight, at least for two people. Also, it was on the main floor, near the front door and check in area. If you book an economy rate room you might want to inquire as to its location if this might bother you. Luckily for us, a larger double room on an upper floor opened up during our stay and we were able to move.
